This year Cartmel has ordered a range of temporary and permanent fencing from WF Racing.

Mobile post and rail barriers have been employed at key crossing points, where racegoers enter the enclosures, helping to protect the racing surface.

Meanwhile, a semi-permanent post and rail barrier were erected three metres from the crowd barrier in front of the track, thereby restricting the creep of vehicles and gazebos up to the running rail – maintaining a corridor for spectators to move freely and view the races.
