The open ditch is one of the most demanding steeplechase obstacles – a combination fence and ditch that requires horses to jump a greater total spread. WF Racing manufactures open ditch fences as complete units: ash timber frame, PVC face boards, plastic birch fill and forward guard rail. We have supplied open ditch fences to racecourses throughout the UK and Ireland. Replacement components are available separately for fences already in use.

The forward guard rail is included as part of the complete unit and is available separately as a replacement component.

Manufactured to current racecourse dimensions. Custom sizing available for unusual ditch positions.
