The plain fence is the most common obstacle on National Hunt courses. WF Racing manufactures plain steeplechase fences from ash timber frames fitted with PVC face boards and plastic birch bundles, producing a consistent profile that holds up to repeated use and year-round exposure. All fences are built at our Easby workshop and can be supplied as complete units or in component form. We have supplied plain fences to racecourses throughout the UK and Ireland, including Haydock, Kempton and Musselburgh.

Ash frame construction
Ash is the traditional choice for steeplechase fence frames. Strong, workable and well-proven in National Hunt use.
PVC face boards
Low-maintenance and consistent in profile, PVC face boards replace the painted timber boards used on older fence designs.
Birch
Our birch bundles replicate the visual and physical profile of real birch without the replacement cost or seasonal availability issues.
Custom sizing
Standard fences or custom dimensions, we manufacture to specification for any fence position on your course.
