Swan‑Neck Rail

On some gallop layouts, the position of posts presents a contact risk to horses running close to the rail. The swan-neck configuration addresses this by offsetting the rail away from the post using a curved bracket, so horses that drift into the rail make contact with the rail itself rather than the post. The swan-neck bracket positions the rail away from the post, so a horse brushing the rail is in contact with the rail, not the harder post structure.
When to choose swan-neck
Swan-neck is the right choice when the post position on your gallop presents a safety concern, or when your groundsman or trainer has specified it by preference.
Same rail as upright
The rail itself is identical, only the post bracket configuration changes. Replacement rails are the same across both systems.
